Family Fun Pools and Spas is a family-owned and operated pool company that evolved from the Johnson family’s fun and recreation in their own, family-built, backyard pool in 1990. Giving the community a reliable pool company became our family’s dream. After 30 years of a steadily growing business, the Johnson family has established a pool company with a longstanding reputation of delivering quality products and services. 

Owners Larry and Joanne started to take educational classes in swimming pool construction design as well as in pool water chemistry, gaining product knowledge to perfect their water balancing skills. Larry apprenticed at two established pool companies to expand his technical training. Throughout the company’s 30 years in business, each of the six Johnson children also worked and trained in various parts of Family Fun Pools and Spas as a family-run pool company. Our son Peter Johnson is now our outside sales and construction manager. Our motto “Your family’s fun, truly is our family business” continues to be true. We see a strong future with son Peter in management.

We started this company by expanding our knowledge so we could share that knowledge and expertise with area residents who wanted to become pool owners. Each Spring we sponsor three FREE pool schools to help our customers become better and more knowledgeable pool owners: Mineral/Salt Pools, Baquacil/Non-Chlorine Pools, and Chlorine Pools. We want you to have a worry-free pool ownership experience, and by expanding your knowledge as a pool owner, we feel we’re giving you everything you need to know to keep your pool healthy, your water clear and your time dedicated to enjoying your pool.
